If we talk about KINGFISHER ULTRA LAGER BEER – 330ML then you will get it for Rs.130 in Gurgaon, Rs.120 in Mumbai and Rs.110 in Bangalore but in Goa you will get it for just Rs.80. While BIRA 91 Blonde 330 ml will be available in Goa for Rs.60. And you will get 500 ml Budweiser Magnum Stron Beer for Rs 100 in Goa.
Why is beer so cheap in Goa?
Excise duty on beer is less in Goa, so beer is available at a cheaper rate than in other states of the country. However, now the rates there have also increased as compared to earlier. In October 2022, the Goa government had increased the excise duty on beer from Rs 10 to Rs 12 per litre, since then beer prices had also increased in Goa.
Difference in price of other liquor
According to a report by ScoopHoop, in 2021, where the price of JIM BEAM KENTUCKY BOURBON – 750ML in Goa was only Rs 1350, the same liquor was available for Rs 1670 in Delhi at the same time. Whereas in Gurgaon it was available in 1800. On the other hand, talking about MAGIC MOMENTS PREMIUM GRAIN VODKA – 375ML, it was Rs.426 in Goa in 2021, while at the same time it was Rs.490 in Delhi and Rs.538 in Bangalore.
